Can't recall exactly why, but it appears that we didn't work out with Sensei Chris at Twin Towers like usual this morning.

'Round 7 PM or so, Ting and I arrived at Devil's Canyon Brewery in Belmont for a progressive multi-birthday party, celebrating Paula Dispoto, Ali Knight & Steve Ihde. We had a good time snacking on pizza and drinking beer, but it was kind of cold hanging around the unheated warehouse, and all too soon, we had to zoom off to Stanford for our [[2013-01-12-1|first event at Bing Hall]], an acoustic gig by Los Lobos!

After that ended, we retraced our path, arriving back at Devil's Canyon in time to catch most of the second set from [[2013-01-12-2|Mo'lasses]], who rocked us hard until just after midnight. Whew! Fun times!!
