Sadly, [Alexei Mochalov](http://alexmochalov.narod.ru/eng_bio.htm) had to cancel his appearances with Kremerata Baltica following the sudden and unexpected death of his wife, pianist Mariya Barankina, from influenza that morning. Consequently, the concert program was rearranged from the original plan, resulting in deletion of Shostakovich's work in favor of Weinberg's Symphony No. 10. Interestingly, the Concertina and Symphony comprise the second disc of the newest Kremerata release on ECM (ECM New Series 2368/69), to come out officially on Feb 18, 2014.

There doesn't seem to be much information online about the Weinberg symphony. [[http://www.music-weinberg.net/music.html#quotes|Here's something]] from a single-page fan site.
