## Notes

Fun time tonight, despite the hassles and distractions of the supper club layout. For the most part, the patrons were very well behaved, and the band seemed to enjoy the vibe pretty well. I thought the overall sound at our table was excellent -- kudoes to the folks doing house sound tonight! At a glance, it appears that tonight's gig had a somewhat different setlist than the [[:2014:2014-01:2014-01-24|January show]] at SFJAZZ, though it's possible that there are additional matches in the as-yet unidentified tunes.

Note for future reference: tables 97-100 (at the very back, upper balcony), with bar stool seating, are well-centered and appear to have good sight lines -- perhaps better than the floor, where the seats are packed in kind of tight, and it's awkward to turn and face the stage properly. Might be good to try next time, though those seats are priced the same as the mid-section tables, whereas the regular theater seats next to the soundboard are at the bottom price tier!
