## Notes

Yowza, a scorching day today! Thunderstorms this morning -- quite unusual for this area -- just enough to wet the ground, though hardly enough to register any precip on the official scales, and it's got to be well over 90 F out here on the driveway. Best to stick to the shade today!

It's not clear why (maybe I missed an announcement?) but instead of the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, we're getting Peter and Paul with two "ringers" -- David Phillips from the Free Mexican Air Force, and Mark McCarthy from Achilles Wheel. No matter -- they sound darn good during the soundcheck!

Peter is in fine form today -- casually dressed in an aloha shirt, purple leggings and bright red socks -- and he regaled us with fine stories in between many of the tunes.
