## Notes

Yet another sublime evening of music with these two masters. Peppered with their dry wit, it was often hard to tell whether their comments and between-song banter were serious or joking (but certainly easier to assume the latter!). It was astonishing to me to note that some folks left at set break -- I counted! -- or even more so, at the encore break. How could you possibly decide to skip the encore? I just don't get it!

I was a trifle disappointed that we only got one Bach piece out of the duo, but that's not meant as any sort of criticism, as I found the entire show to be thoroughly delightful. Probably would have been a good idea to have spent more time listening to their latest album, _Bass and Mandolin_, but once or twice seemed sufficient at the time. Hopefully they'll be back soon!
