LOL. I'm glad I went; Denk is darn good. I still don't really like Brahms all that much -- to my ears he's somewhat of a long-winded bore. Luck of the draw goes against you sometimes; makes for another learning opportunity of one sort or another! Stephen Smoliar posted a [laudatory review](http://www.examiner.com/article/m-lkki-s-return-to-davies-balances-modernism-with-retrospective-classicism) of last night's show (a repeat of the same program) for the Examiner; Jeff Dunn posted a similar [review](https://www.sfcv.org/reviews/San-Francisco-Symphony/M-lkki-Unlocks-a-Jewelbox-at-S-F-Symphony) for SFCV. Back to the previous event! ☸ Up to the 2014 yearbox! ☸ Up to the 2014 event list! ☸ On to the next event!
