## Notes

Didn't try keeping a setlist tonight, and would have been quite humorous if I did, as the show was very spacey and noodley. They definitely touched on a few classic tunes, like _Maiden Voyage_ and _Spain/Concierto de Aranjuez_, but overall, the vibe was playful and groove oriented, with lots of trading fours and comping back and forth. It was especially cool when I caught them trading lead roles on each other's tunes: was Herbie better at evoking Chick, or did Chick have the upper hand at grooving on Herbie's tunes? Hard to tell! I guess I need to see them do a bunch more shows in order to decide!

It's hard to believe that they filed up nearly two hours this way! Quite fun, if not exactly polished and precise; hopefully they'll bring the show back for another go round sometime soon.
