Each of the speakers was decent enough, and a few of the talks were quite compelling, but I don't see myself attending again unless it's as a guest. Except for a short opening segment of a few minutes, the musical component of the night was restricted to mostly innocuous background, and like the talks, just wasn't all that exciting enough. Guess I'm a bit jaded or something. It also seemed a little weird to include commercial breaks in the flow of the evening -- didn't we pay enough to escape that particular form of torture? -- but I suppose it's all a big experiment by the originators, and you have to give them credit for trying something new. Would I suggest that other folks try this out in a future instance? Sure, if it sounds like something you'd enjoy, why not? Back to the previous event! ☸ Up to the 2015 yearbox! ☸ Up to the 2015 event list! ☸ On to the next event!
