## Notes

I was really looking forward to this show, and I'm happy to report that the boys came through with a righteous effort.

They began the site with a few instrumentals that really leaned hard over to the jazzy side of the guitar duo format, then tilted right back with the classic Americana of Norman Blake's _Ginseng Sullivan_ and Paul Craft's _Keep Me From Blowing Away_. And that opening salvo set the frame for the whole course: a little jazz, a little old time, a couple dashes of bluegrass, blues, and gospel, toss it in the blender and enjoy!

Probably should have bought their new album at the show, but I wasn't in the shopping mood that night -- too late to help me fix those unknowns in the setlist!
