## Notes

Had a great time at tonight's show -- always a treat to get in on one of the "free" Grate Room shows! The guys were psyched to play tonight, and the setlist featured plenty of unusual nuggets. I was most psyched for _Let It Ride_ and _Dead Flowers_. _Ohio_ was another surprise, especially coming out of _Let It Ride_, and_Tons of Steel_ was another treat,  though now that I stop to think, with most of those tunes showing up in the soundcheck, I shouldn't have been surprised at all!

Was thinking during _Liberty_ that the shuffle beat Alex was laying down was exactly right for covering the Radiator's classic _Party 'Til the Money Run Out_. Sure wish I'd hear some of their originals worked into the TXR mix!

Caught a brief snatch of Cold & in the Bay (doing a hot cover of _the Hobo Song_ from the Old & in the Way repertoire... shoulda been paying better attention!) while hanging at the merch table for a few minutes after the main event. Probably should have hung around to hear the rest of their set!
