## Notes

Ting has decided to go see the Who's 50th Anniversary concert at Oracle Arena (and tonight is Pete Townshend's 73rd B.D. no less!), so I'm flying solo tonight. I invited my mom, Cathi, to meet me for the show between 7 and 7:30 PM, but somehow she got her wires crossed again, and came down to the area waaay early, calling me at home as I was eating a dinner salad around 5:45 PM to tell me she had arrived. What with the background noise of the salsa band blasting away, I couldn't really make sense of her phone call, but I ascertained that I needed to hustle down to the venue right away, so I did. Found the salsa band. Didn't find mom. Sent a bunch of text messages; tried a few phone calls; couldn't get things worked out: seems like she went home after getting mad at me (for being late? Or unable to meet?) or just too miserable (she complained about being cold from sitting outside, and it *was* a typically windy/foggy San Francisco evening). Guess I'll find out what happened tomorrow afternoon.
