Paul Liberatore posted a promo article about Country Joe's imminent retirement in the [Mercury News](https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/07/15/country-joe-mcdonald-fixin-to-retire/), though it's fair to point out that in fact, the show I attended represented an encore visit to the Sweetwater, hinting that the possibility stays open for more shows in the future.
