## Notes

It might not be obvious, but all of the tunes above were originally composed by Chick Corea -- mostly as a young man. For this tour, various members of the JaLCO selected favorites to rearrange for big band performance.

Andrew Gilbert posted a very brief [promo article](https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/03/19/jazz-legend-chick-corea-jazz-at-lincoln-center-orchestra-team-in-berkeley/) about the gig for the Mercury News.

Took some digging, but it turns out that Wynton was absent tonight because he's working as a visiting scholar at Cornell this week.

It surprised me how many subs were called up tonight -- a half dozen? -- too bad that the program notes didn't get updated in time to reflect all of the changes!
