## Notes

Well the weather today wasn't nearly as nice as Tuesday, but for December, it wasn't bad at all ... just cool, a little overcast and breezy.

Phil seemed pretty pumped to play again, complimenting the guys after each of the first few tunes.

Jason dropped some really cool filigree licks into _Slipknot!_, and at one point he and Stu tossed riffs back and forth -- very cool, even without a drummer (or two).

I was surprised when Grahame stepped up to sing at the start of _Franklin's Tower_ -- it's been a "Phil song" sing the Q days -- and even more surprised when the lead passed to Jason for the second verse, Stu for the third, and finally to Phil fourth. It was an interesting switch!

Stu put a lot of heart and soul into _So Many Roads_; talking with another fan after the show, she mentioned that it brought her to tears.

_Box of Rain_ was a joyful way to wrap things up -- a little short of 90 minutes today, but I ain't gonna complain. I got to my happy place!

And traffic both ways was a real breeze -- despite the problem of finessing things with work, this early time is really much better than late afternoon: easy drive, nicer weather, I'm sold on it!
