## Notes

Hips put on a great show today in a cool low-key environment: the outdoor backyard beer garden behind the Old Princeton Landing. Of course it was grey and foggy, but surprisingly, it wasn't that cold ... maybe mid-60's? Lack of wind was a big factor there too. And of course it helped a lot that the Hips had me dancing up a storm. Yay! That's why I love seeing them!

I think there was an opening band, but if so, we missed 'em completely: had to make a stop at [GAMH](https://gamh.com/) for awhile for [Sam Begler's Memorial](https://www.facebook.com/events/564288488090418). Dang! I'm really gonna miss hanging with Sam in line outside of shows: it was always a gas to hear him pontificating on life, the universe and all that crap. Gone too soon!
