## Notes

Tonight's show was pretty fun. The band shot out the gate with a blazing instrumental ... I recognized the medley enough to sing along in my head, but that wasn't enough to bring the name of the tune out of the cluttered drawers of my memory. Maybe someone else who attended will fill me in.

Dianne entered, and despite the extra help of her clear diction, I couldn't pin down the tune she sang. Another conundrum!

_Smile_ was a nice treat, as was the surprise snippet of Bach sung by Dianne to illustrate her story about learning how to swing by listening to Sarah Vaughan records.

_Minuano_ was another thrill -- I don't recall having heard her sing that before, and hearing the tune start, I thought, "so that's why Romero just switched to electric guitar."

All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday evening!
