## Notes

We take our time getting to the queue, and end up at 104+105 for early entry out of 130-140 total bands given out. That's a lot fewer than prior years. I'm glad: that means things ought to be more relaxed, right? 

We have a nice hang for the next hour or so, a dozen rail peeps clustered in the shade of a little beach palapa. Eventually it's lottery time, and today's winning number is selected: 71! That's awesome for us, yay!

By 5:23 PM we have attained today's goal: a blanket spot dead center, 8 ft from the rail. Perfect! Everybody is friendly today, and it's nice making new friends among fellow riders on the GD bus.

Orebolo starts off promptly and plays a solid-but-short set. I didn't recognize _I'm Writing a Novel_ as a  Father John Misty cover while they played it, but after the fact, yeah, I should have known that, for sure! I was glad that they had Sturgill and Bob out for guest spots, and the choice of _Brokedown Palace_ to end the set really surprised me: time to cross that one off for the Dead Ahead setlist possibilities, eh?
