Ting and I arrived a little after 10 PM and after negotiating the mandatory ID check, we immediately ran into Phil and Elizabeth, hanging out in front of the outdoor taps. It was a bit chilly again – hanging around outside on a January evening isn't necessarily the brightest idea – but this time we were a little better prepared with warm clothing!

We were happy to see a fairly large turnout for the gig – plenty of friends to greet and chat with! – and there was still plenty of room for grooving indoors by the band without worrying too much about stomping on anybody else's toes. In retrospect, it might have been a shorter set than usual, but hey, it's bad form to complain about a free show!!
