Notes

Tonight's set was short but sweet! It wasn't nearly as spacey and abstract as I expected, but the two big jam segments were plenty interesting, and really wandered from one theme to another without particularly sounding like established classic tunes. I was almost disappointed when they slid into Deep Elem, as i was expecting a purely instrumental, exploratory evening, but it was a fun rendition of the tune, and the nights other songs were equally refreshing. Hard to know at this point what it means when a Telstar show has tunes … I guess it's an evolving entity, just like everything else in the universe.
