Notes

Originally scheduled to play a little later, Dry Branch swapped set times with John Prine after his flight was delayed coming into SFO. Worked OK for me!

Ron Thomason was his usual wry self, entertaining us city-slickers with his hillbilly drawl and tall tales Probably should have taken time to note some of his better lines, about the only piece I recall at the moment is a bit about nude yoga knife fighting – a fantastical conflation about a cultural collision between San Francisco and West Virginian that didn't quite coalesce into anything sensible.

The band is still quite hot, and despite the many discussion breaks, they managed to pack a lot of hot picking into their limited timeslot.
