Notes

Excellent love-themed setlist tonight, but I feel like the band could have used a couple hours more rehearsal – there were a lot of shaky moments, especially in the first set – and a lot of looking around to see who was going to take the next solo. Not that the show was bad, but it was loose, and sometimes you gotta tighten up those lug nuts to make sure the wheels don't fall off the bus!

Alex is really coming along as a singer, and I look forward to seeing him as he becomes more comfortable in that role. It was clear that he and Grahame and Elliott have been spending time practicing their harmonies – that element of the show was excellent!

I didn't expect Phil to duet with Stanley, and it took me a moment or two to recognize what was going on… I thought at first that we were heading into a solo section for Stanley. It was fun, but not exactly earth-shatteringly great. And long, unless you have a high tolerance for Lesh-led noodling!

Seemed like the show ran pretty late for a Sunday night – hopefully they'll keep a slightly tighter schedule tonight!
