Notes

It's an easy choice for me to catch a set by DBFS – I know I'm going to enjoy every minute of it, whether they're blazing on a hot bluegrass number, soaring off on four-part gospel harmony, or just listening to Ron tell one corny joke after another. My original plan for the day had been to hear Patty Griffin instead, but she canceled. And I was OK with checking out Nick Waterhouse – he was new to me, but a check on his albums last week implied that he was worth a listen – but then plans changed, and I found myself parked at the Swan stage all day. Sometimes the punches ain't so hard to roll with!
