Notes

Headed west tonight about 30 min later than Monday, and the difference in traffic was astonishing. Much thicker! Good for trying my patience, and I'm glad to say that I didn't blue my cool despite the assorted stupid moves we witnessed. Arrived at TXR to find out favored parking area full, but while I was deciding what to do, someone came out, climbed into a car and left, opening up a single fresh space. Now that's what I call parking karma!

Spent a few minutes in line outside the grate room, but then decided it would be smarter to wait on the heated Harmony Tent. Yep! Nice to warm up in there, but eventually it was time to head back to the line, and the 30 min there set a deep chill into my feet. Hopefully they'll warm up soon.

Folks filled in little by little, but thankfully, it didn't get too crowded, and except for a screamer, a singer and a dancing crasher, things were quite mellow. My kind of crowd!

Like Monday, I thought the song selection tonight was quite interesting: not just the same old, same old! Clearly, some of the songs got more rehearsal than the others, but they successfully avoided any big wrecks, and the string oats were very very good. I'm really thankful to Marc and Jess for spotting us their spare tickets!

Say thanks to Nugs for posting full video of the show to Youtube!
