Wow, another super double-plus-good show. Yoshi's was packed to bursting tonight, and the crowd energy was thick enough to feel swirling around the spaces inbetween the soundwaves blasting out from the stage. Despite being nearly voiceless (hence the stand-up introduction from Joey at the start of the show), Branford's playing was stellar. It was obvious from the get go that tonight's show had IT in spades. Makes me think I ought to consider ditching tomorrow's NCCO gig, or scrambling to Yoshi's for the late show after NCCO wraps up…

Andrew Gilbert posted a rave review of the following night's late show – interestingly, they repeated On the Sunny Side of the Street … gets me wondering if there were any other repeats…
