David Nelson Band

• Wally Ingram: drums, percussion;
• David Nelson: guitar, lead and harmony vox;
• Pete Sears: bass, harmony vox;
• Mookie Siegel: keyboards, lead and harmony vox;
• Barry Sless: guitar, $ pedal steel guitar.

For some reason we didn't hear about this gig until today was on top of us – or maybe we'd heard about it, but made other plans? Yeah, I think that's it. We'd originally planned to head to a private show with Stu, but that got cancelled at the last minute, so DNB got the nod instead.

It was certainly lots of fun, despite the hassle of commute-time traffic stretching the 30 mile trip into something like 75-90 min.

The band was set up in a parklet stage right outside the Pub doors, and while we didn't have a table reservation, Michael was gracious enough to squeeze us in at a two-top off to the side. Yay!

By the end of the night it was kind of chilly – good thing we were smart enough to bring lots of layers.

Hopefully the new owners (taking over in December?) will have the sense to keep having live music: we need it more than ever these days!
