Attendance was lighter than I expected for tonight's dance party at SFJAZZ – I thought the Cuban party crowd would be out in full force, but maybe they had other distractions? What with tickets offered at a reasonably low price (under $20 for dance floor admission), I thought it would be an easy sell out. Maybe dancers haven’t gotten the news that it’s safe to go out again?

The band took a few tunes to get warmed up, but once they hit the boiling point, things kept percolatin' for the rest of the show. It was darn good!
