Notes

Heh! East Bay traffic is lighter than expected this afternoon, and I arrive early enough to watch the exciting conclusion of the mid afternoon show. To kill time during the break between shows, I consider a visit to one of the breweries nearby – Almanac or Faction – but decide there's not quite enough time for the round trip walk and anything but a quick chug, so instead I circumambulate a bit. Following the signs, I make my way to the registration tent, then join the crowd waiting in the shade for the last show of the day. Perfect weather right now (though really, I should be in shorts instead of long pants, light as they may be).
