Notes

These sets were sold and billed as “Organ Quartets” but in practice, neither performance included a Hammond B-3, so I'm thinking that was some sort of marketing huff-puffery. The program notes handout from the Stanford Jazz folks offered thin cover for the bait and switch scheme, but I remain unconvinced: it's not an organ group if you don't have a Hammond!
