Notes

As always, it was a joy to have Wynton and the big band back at Zellerbach. Wynton was in especially fine form, starting the show with a long solo up in front by Dan Nimmer before retreating to his position in back with the rest of the trumpet section. Dan Nimmer's solo during the second set opener, Wigwam, was also pretty darn good. As the setlist and soloists were announced from the stage, it's entirely likely that I've messed up a few details – let me know if you spot any errors!
