Notes

Another festive night at Tip's!

Seems like it's a bit colder tonight, and as we wait for the doors to open, I regret leaving my down jacket back in the hotel room – my light shell doesn't offer enough insulation to keep me warm against the chill air blowing up over the levee from the Mississippi river. So I shiver and dance around and stomp my feet to keep the blood flowing, then do my best to squeeze against the building between other folks when that ain't enough. Just a cold little chickadee doing my best to stay warm on a January night!

Inside, the place is only half-full when Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes walk out for the opening set, but their high energy tunes are just the thing to help us warm the place up, and soon enough the hats and coats are tied up or tossed away – all the better to dance! Unfortunately, I'm a little distracted, so my setlist notes for this portion of the show are especially poor. Hopefully I'll get a chance to review things via the magic of recorded media before too long and make corrections as needed!

Whoa! This section is incomplete for now, sorry!

Once again, buckets of thanks to Eric Vandercar and Jon Hart for working to share a recording of this show with us. Buy your copy right now by heading to Live Downloads.

Back to the calendar!
