Notes

First of all, big thanks to John Driver and the folks at the Freret Street Publiq House for organizing this event! Couldn't be anything better to cap off our January getaway than a little outdoor festival on a warm winter's day!!

Second of all, major props to Perks, who was kind enough to run his Schoeps from the back of the tent and then set up a couple etree torrents: N.O. Suspects; Raw Oyster Cult. I've subsequently posted by recording of the Mardi Gras Indian Orchestra as well.

My story for the day? Well we did our best to arrive bright and early for the festivities, sacrificing a bit of sleep in order to make it to the site by noon. Happily, things were running on Sunday slow-motion time, so we had awhile to check out the food booths and chit-chat with other early risers before the music got started.

Whoa! This section is incomplete for now, sorry!

Back to the calendar!
