Notes
I found Hir to be an engaging and funny work, but also a bit over contrived in piling on the absurdities of family woe depicted in the run of the story. And while the comedic thread of the story wrote a bit bare as the more dramatic elements were lifted to the fore, at least it wasn't dark and disturbing like Buried Child. I'll take base comedy over gothic horror any day!
