Notes
What I appreciated most about tonight's play was that it was substantively different from the past 9 or 12 offerings we've attended at Magic Theatre. Certainly it shared dramatic elements with the others, but tonight's play seemed to me to really revel in setting a bleak, dark, scene as the drama unfolds, with layers of the story slowly revealing themselves as the cast recites their lines. While I agree with the reviewers that the overall presentation could be improved, I think this was a fine effort for wrapping up the current season, and it's got me sold on returning for another season in the fall.
