Notes

Closing out the Banjo Stage on Saturday night, Steve Earle delivered a ripping set. Really fun! And with most of the crowd beat down by the long day's heat, it was a surprisingly mellow experience. I'm very happy that I decided to spend by day there!!

Steve didn't seem to be in such of a great space personally – he made multiple unhappy references to his divorce-in-progress – but I'm willing to let it slide as venting when it hurts. Hopefully he'll be in a happier space when we catch him further on down the road.

Back on the set, I thought the rabble-rousing one-two punch of the encore was amazing. Seriously rocking tunes with an important message, trying to get folks riled up.

Thanks to the folks posting at setlist.fm for the help correcting and confirming some of my guesses!
