I'm glad that Ting rallied us for tonight's gig: it's always fun to spend an evening grooving at Terrapin Crossroads!

Tim Bluhm's opening set was short and sweet, and thankfully, the crowd was marvelously attentive for the first half hour or so… At least until the din of the drinkers at the bar grew to meet the sound of the trip onstage! Always gonna be tough for the listeners to compete with the carousers when you put them in the same room! Fortunately, the band seemed to deal with it pretty well, and the party didn't really get to out off hand anyways… Just Friday night enthusiasm, right?
