Ahh, Beethoven. I can certainly fit a few all-Beethoven programs into my schedule every year, but the full string-quartet cycle? That's a tougher bit to fit! I took the lazy cheapskate's path and selected those single shows that best fit my calendar. And my first reward?: a fine afternoon's concert, inside and away from a howling rainstorm. Good choice!
