Grate fun tonight listening to Jorma with a bunch of like minded kooks at TXR. Always nice to be part of a listening crowd!

It's been a pretty long time since I've seen Jorma do an acoustic show, partly on account of their temporary scarcity, and partly because of ticket prices inching ever upward. Like most penny-pinchers, I find it easier to overcome the old been there done it - itis when the obstruction tariff is lower.

So yeah, it was a good time! Happy to hear a healthy mix of newly unearthed classics mixed in with the old favorites. I had no idea that Reverend Thomas Dorsey also wrote bawdy blues like The Terrible Operation – thanks for sharing that one Jorma!

I'm also grateful to Jorma for posting the setlist on his blog … makes it easier to get everything right!
