While it's always a joy to hear Emmylou, I was a little less enamored of this year's set in comparison with my recollection of past visits: I miss the power and majesty of some of those previous bands! Which isn't to lay a big knock against the current outfit, but their overall presentation was spare and subtle, which is great when that's your mood, but not necessarily what I want at the end of a long weekend of music.
