Notes

Happily, Deborah clued us in to this gig so we could make space in our calendar accordingly. Tiburon Wine is a nice little shop, and they seemed happy to host the tiny crowd … about two dozen folks for the first set, and then packed and busting at the seems by the end of the show, with a full house at about thirty friendly folks. Fun, fun, fun!

While the sound seemed a trifle imbalanced at the start of the show – with the drums on far house left, then Nic and Carlos in the middle, and then the three singers on far house right – the musicians seemed to mix themselves by playing louder or softer, and by mid-way through the first set things were balanced quite nicely. No doubt Nic was tweaking the vocal and guitar mix a little in the PA too, though I couldn't really see him all that well to verify that.
