It's a shame that tonight's show was rather undersold, and annoying to find out only upon our arrival that we're being reseated so that they can close the balcony and focus the audience better towards the performers. Nice to be closer, of course, but awkward for someone like me who doesn't like dealing with unexpected changes.

I thought the show was great, once you accepted the fact that the songs were going to be somewhat monochromatic explorations of melody and rhythm. Nothing like the blues changes – just variations on that one chord vamp. I dug it. It was groovy enough to bliss out to – good thing they offered a dance floor for the folks who really wanted to spin!
