The heat is peaking now – it's got to be over a hundred degrees – and the crowd has come in close to cluster under the pop-ups for shade. Achilles Wheel does their best to turn things into a dance party, and most of today's tunes are upbeat, irresistible, driving numbers. Adding local resident and New Monsoon guitarist Jeff Miller at the half-way point only feeds the fire, and everywhere I look, it's a sweaty mess by the end of the set. Good job boys!
