Tonight's show was pretty darn good. I was especially happy to get one certain ID when they played the Sidewinder for the encore – though I admit I needed help to jog my memory on the title for that one! Guess I should have listened to In Movement a few times to prep myself during the previous week!

I'm not entirely convinced that Matt Garrison is onto anything very interesting with his electronic effects indulgences, but I'm willing to give him a few more years to figure out how to intergrate them less obtrusively in to the performance mix.

Jack looks great, and still plays with surprising strength and finesse: he's lucky to be so healthy at 75; I hope to be that spry when I get there in another 20 years!
