I had low expectations for this set – sappy Nashville country songs aren't really my thing – but I have to say that Bill Anderson really won me over. No doubt he's accumulated a lot of showman's tricks over the years, but I really enjoyed his banter, the gimmicks didn't seem too forced, and it ain't bragging when you trot out hit after hit after hit….
