Notes

I wasn't entirely enthusiastic about hearing John Prine again, but in retrospect, I think this show was the best I've heard from him since Zellerbach Hall in the mid-1980's: He seemed to be cheerful and exuberant today: a man enjoying a good time with his friends. On the “I told you so” side of things, the setlist is more or less the same as it's been over the past decade, but it's hard to deny the power of those tunes!
