Notes

What I like best about Alfredo Rodriguez is the sense of ease and refinement I hear in his playing: even when he's hammering away during a high speed syncopated run, there's an irresistable underlying flow that communicates an effortless command of the instrument in the music that is spilling forth. He is truly a virtuoso of the highest order.
