-## Notes
-I was really pleased with tonight's show, as to my ears it was much more effective at bringing the spirit of the Grateful Dead to a classical environment than earlier efforts such as _Dead Symphony_ and Weir's gig up in Marin last year.
-Hard to say exactly why that's my impression. It could be that tonight was more of a pops effort ... with the orchestra offering musical decoration behind the efforts of the band up front.
-It could be that the orchestrations were more straight and less abstract. I dunnno.
-Maybe if I sat and listened to the various efforts again I'd change my tune, but for now, I'll conclude by saying that it was a really fun night!
