Notes

I enjoyed this afternoon's set – these folks can really play! Starting off with Piazzolla's Libre Tango was sneaky smart: it got me dancing in my head, and looking forward to the next surprise on the setlist. All of the players got at least one good star turn, and they each wowed me enough to think that I'd be happy seeing them again in a different setting some other time. The crowd today was a little smaller and less enthusiastic than the previous few weeks – maybe on account of the blistering heat? – but the musicians didn't seem to notice, and the house was still at least 80% full: not bad for the 'burbs!
