Notes

I've been seeing Monty Alexander for a pretty long time now – at least 20 years – and he always puts on a great show. Today was no exception, and I really enjoyed how the trio format allowed each of the principals to stretch out and show off in a way that doesn't usually happen in performances with larger groups.

Because Monty mentioned that he'd be signing CD's at the merch table after the show, I got in line and waited to purchase a copy of his latest, Road Dog. After giving it a few listens, I can say that too is highly recommended!
