Notes

Hum baby, well, what's there to say. If you're not a fan of Bob Weir, then seeing him in this stripped down trio is probably a waste of your time and money. On the other hand, if you're a fan of his unique approach to music, then a small group show in a tiny venue is gonna ring your bells just right!

It's taken me a long time – 30 or 40 years! – to really learn to listen to Bobby, but now that I'm hip to his strange magic, I'm happy to cut him slack for a multitude of short-comings.

My vague recollection is that in the setlist above, I intentionally used double guillemet, “ » ”, for what I perceived to be proper, improvisatory segues between songs. By contrast, a hasty, ill-considered left turn segue is demarked by a single greater-than symbol, ' > '. Can you tell which kind I prefer?

Happily, thanks to Weir Wednesdays, the entire show is available to view and listen to at Youtube, yay!
