-* Andy introduced everbody at some point, but I wasn't listening carefully enough to verify whether or not the bass player was Nick Alves; maybe someone will help me out there!+* Andy introduced everybody at some point, but I wasn't listening carefully enough to verify whether or not the bass player was Nick Alves; maybe someone will help me out there!
 * Although the sound was terrific for the first half-dozen tunes (and the crowd was happily attentive), I thought it got much harder to hear Andy's voice once the band started to rock more ... too much volume from the amps and not enough vocal reinforcement from the outward-aimed PA. Could have used a center-facing vocal wedge right in front of Andy to fix that! * Although the sound was terrific for the first half-dozen tunes (and the crowd was happily attentive), I thought it got much harder to hear Andy's voice once the band started to rock more ... too much volume from the amps and not enough vocal reinforcement from the outward-aimed PA.  * It was also kind of lame that people decided it was OK to talk once the band started rocking. I'm glad they listened during the quiet stuff, but heck, what's so hard about being quiet for a whole hour? Idjuts! * It was also kind of lame that people decided it was OK to talk once the band started rocking.  * I really liked it once they stepped up the volume and tempo: Jeremy is a good guitar player, and I liked how he traded licks with Andy. * I really liked it once they stepped up the volume and tempo: Jeremy is a good guitar player, and I liked how he traded licks with Andy.
-* Seemed kind of funny to me to notice that most of the rocking tunes ended with the same sort of short jam or rave up, followed by a sudden stop. It was cathy the first time I noticed it, but a little trite by the third or fourth time. +* Seemed kind of funny to me to notice that most of the rocking tunes ended with the same sort of short jam or rave up, followed by a sudden stop. -* Overall, I was really happy I attended this show, and I think I'll continue paying attention to the Botannical Garden gig schedule in the future!+* Overall, I was really happy I attended this show, and I think I'll continue paying attention to the Botanical Garden gig schedule in the future!
